Hi, and welcome to my game prototype.

I strongly suggest that you read this at least once to ensure you have an idea of whats going on as a lot of things lack context for now.
The game revolves around fighting, your main goal is to make your character as strong as possible.
To achieve this, you will need to create the strongest set of 10 techniques you can.

To equip a technique you must first progress it to at least the first level of understanding.

You can start training in a new technique with the button at the top of the passives page, its the first step in getting stronger.

Your understanding progress for a technique goes up by one each time you kill an enemy while training it.

Upon reaching the required amount, the level will go up. The level cannot exceed your own level.
With each level, a technique will multiply all of its stats multiplier by its level 1 multipliers
(level 5 technique granting x 10 at level 1 will grant 10 x 10 x 10 x 10 x 10)
Buffs will scale in the same way
Triggered effects will double in effectiveness with each level.
Stats conversion (there isnt any implemented yet but the systems are there) will grant twice as many flat stats with each level.

To progress your character's level, you must have 10 techniques reach the level of your character.
(eventually there will be a challenge to pass at this point, but for now you get a free pass by killing any enemy)

Once your character's level went up you can train the techniques again.

The only part of the game accessible for now is the very early game, soon I will add the systems to merge techniques from different daos into a single, powerful new technique.
(and obviously more daos than just the sword dao).
